Ornament DIY: Day 42

Need:

Brown Sculpey clay

Brown thread

Hot glue gun

Scissors

 

Instructions:

  • Roll the brown Sculpey clay so one end is slightly narrow and pointy, and the other end is slighter wide and rounded.

  • Bake the clay according to the instructions on the Sculpey packaging.

  • Cut a part of the brown thread.

  • Place some of the hot glue just below the tip of the narrower end of the baked clay whip.

  • Wrap the thread around the whip, on top of the glue, all the way to the tip of the narrow end.

  • Make a knot in the spot you would like your whip string to end, and use the scissors to trim a bit past the knot.

  • Tie the monofilament around the narrow end of the whip and tie the loose ends together.
