There is encouragement and inspiration to be found throughout this story of faith, dreams, pride, betrayal, patience, and reconciliation. God’s sovereign faithfulness and love are on full display.

In the midst of the story of Joseph, we also read about Judah and Tamar in Genesis 38. God’s faithfulness to the family line of Jesus is shown in this story, but parents of younger children may want to adapt its telling due to its PG-13 rating.
